• "Well, I am glad you're doing well baby girl," My father said. "Yeah, dad I am fine," I told him. But the guys were still here. I needed to get them out of here. Before I made a fool of myself in front of them. But I couldn't be mean to them like they were to me over the years. So, I did the one thing I wouldn't do. I went to sit down in front of them. Ashely and Natalie thought that was crazy.
• Because they gave me a confused look on their face. I was so nervous to be around the guys. This morning Jake Stone wanted to fake date me, and now he was staring at me with care and want in his eyes. I thought he just wanted to fake our relationship to keep me safe from his psychopath sister and others. But now I was watching him and his body language. I really thought he wanted me for real this time to be his girlfriend. But how could I be someone else who is not my mate? I am old-fashioned because I am saving myself for my mate. There is no way he and Elijah is my mate.
