Chapter 39 Confession

• YRENE’S POV.
• The fear of being pushed without being ready swallowed me whole, and my heart was right in my mouth. The feeling of falling felt like all my insides were about to leave me. Reece was shouting in excitement while I screamed in fear holding onto him for all I was worth. I wanted to get to the end immediately, but the fall was excruciatingly slow.
• Frankly speaking, falling felt like dying, and I had it in my that the cord wouldn’t hold our weight and was going to snap. Already the cold from the wind and at the speed at which we were plunging, had turned my lips white, and frozen my face, leaving my ears and nose in a horrible pink. After feeling like I had screamed my throat out raw, I began to cry and call for help.
