Chapter 93 She Missed Him

  • Shania's slender hand ran over her masks hanging inside the cupboard like a closet. It was just like the first time she started working as a stripper. She got her first mask, and danced in front of men. The love and cheers were nothing like she ever imagined. She knew what she did was considered dirty by others. Many women called her names, sex workers and many more. But she found comfort in her work. Without knowing, tears were falling non-stop. All the memories flooded back. The world was bad, she thought love was easy to find. But no. She was better off doing what made her happy.
  • “Don't do this,” came a hoarse stern voice, Shania didn't have to guess when she knew Christian's voice too well. Wiping her face, she closed the cabinet as soon as she picked the mask she wanted and turned to her dressing table.
  • “Leave now,” she said sternly, and sat down to fix her make-up. Christian shifted around until he was standing behind her. Shania could see his reflection. Christian scanned her carefully. She looked different, from her hair, which was nicely falling to her bare back into waves. She had heavy make-up with sexy red lipstick. Her beautiful round eyes were smoky, in a sexy way.
