• Julian lifts his other hand and slides it up the side of my body. I shiver at the contact of his fingers on my naked skin. He doesn’t stop until he has cupped my cheek. He then slides his thumb back and forth as he says,
• “Yes, I am a vampire, however, I am only 41. I am only what they would call a pup of a vampire as I haven’t even hit the century yet. And I don’t have anyone waiting back at the castle. You are mine and I am willing to wait for as long as you need me to.”
