Lily stood just by the small river looking across it with nothing and yet everything in her mind. The past few days have been a whole lot for her to take in, at some point she had thought she would break down totally but she just couldn't tell how she had lived through it all. From being made to accept her mate that once rejected her to being marked by him and now they are mated!
It was even worse that the sex they had has refused to leave her head, always popping up recklessly and without will at times it shouldn't especially when Liam gets closer to her.
