Chapter 45 Wicked Mate

• Danny watched Lily sob quietly at a corner. She curled her body into a foetal position very close to the wall, her head covered with her shaking hands as she trembled with sobs.
• The throbbing veins that had appeared in her neck had fortunately gone in. For a moment back there, Danny thought Lily would transform and act rashly. She was near shape shifting; her fangs were shot out already and her claws sprouted out dangerously. It was only a matter of time before she had run off and surely would have done something horrible. Her mood was nasty enough to make such happen.
