• Alpha Lane was not happy with the way Alpha Abel and Adriana were getting close so he decided to do something about it; he met with a group of rogues in a place known as the Black Gate where all sorts of mercenaries, black market dealers and so on usually hang out.
• So the air was filled with tension, but Alpha Lane was still the biggest and most feared wolf here. His piercing gaze swept over the crew, their loyalty for sale to the highest bidder evident in their wary eyes.
• "I've got a job for you," Alpha Lane's voice cut through the silence, his tone as cold as the night air. "Alpha Carmen's pack, especially Alpha Abel, has been a thorn in my side for too long. I want them gone."
