• Life's like a marathon—you run too far, and your legs demand a break. The same goes for your mind; sometimes, it begs for a timeout, whether it’s to sit quietly or vent to someone who gets it. After last night's blow-up with my parents, I felt like I’d taken one wrong turn and ended up tumbling headfirst into a pit of regret. There was plenty to talk about, but not a damn thing I could do to fix it. Looking out from the glass walls, the scenic view that always made me proud had lost its charm.
