• Alaric’s POV
• I was breathing hard by the time I sped back into my driveway and parked my ride in the middle of it, leaving the door open as I stepped out and stormed towards the house entrance. Allesio came down from the car and hurried after me.
• I had only been getting angrier each passing minute because I couldn’t understand why this was happening to me when I was in power. During my father’s reign, shit like this doesn’t happen. But this…this happening during my reign, it was going to put a stain on my record and that vexed me.
