• She was entirely out of my sight before I could finally get back to the lost world I had drifted into. This was so shocking to be real, and even as I tried shoving it away, it kept getting more vague for my brain to understand.
• Just as Jaden had become so interested at the mention of Ava and went ahead to ask who she was, that was the exact way it had happened a few minutes ago. Ava also had that same expression and questioned me about Jaden with too much enthusiasm.
