• "Where do I start?" Killian huffs out as he stands up from the bed to take off his sweaty shirt that was soaked from his nightmares.
• "I was a ten-year-old boy, a son to my father and mother, and they loved me and we lived happily," he starts, "but I could feel there was something that always bothered my father and mother."
• "He looked restless, especially when the Goldcrest pack came to visit, and for some reason, I was too young to understand," he says as he takes in a breath. Brynn comes close to him and entwines both their hands.
