• “My parents have known my entire life what would happen if anyone found out I was born, they kept other Packs away from our territory because of it. They wanted to celebrate my seventeenth birthday in a special way and the preparation for it caused me to leave home. It was never their intention to ignore me, but trying to keep everything a secret made that happen none the less and not being able to find me hurt my family.
• Dad explained they couldn’t report me missing because they didn’t want the report to end up on the wrong desk. I spend many hours talking to my parents and my Brothers, they understand how it made me feel and they apologized for it at least ten times a day.
