• St Donavan experienced a dark as eclipse sky and a sudden strange rainfall with the Skinwalker's transformation.
• She quickened her pace as the clouds began to gather in the sky, it was strange up till now, the now darkened sky had been postcard perfect, and the beautiful cocktail-blue shade was beginning to darken into gravel-grey as large pillows of cloud were forming, blocking out the beautiful golden color of the sun.
• she got the first splatter of rain when she was halfway across the meadow leading to the girl's domitorium, and to shield herself from it she took shelter under an old oak, droplets of water began to drip from the leaves wetting her red hair, the rainfall became more intense, so much rain was falling that the sound blurred into one long, whirring noise. It reminded her of the rotor blades on a helicopter. Eventually, the noise lessened and the drops faded into a musical chime.
