• The students assembled at the great hall, chatters and incoherent mumbling echoing through the large room with a ceiling over twenty feet high. Designs of fruit and flowers are carved into the walls and Lycan sculptures look down at them from every angle at the side of the walls as the vases of blossoms give off a cloying scent that makes her eyes itch.
• The huge room with high ceilings bore a magnificent sight. A light coming from the ceiling where a translucent material let the sun pass through shone through the emptiness invading the students with a feeling of joyfulness and the aspirations of a new day, a new beginning.
• The gloomy ceiling was mingled with the sun making the hall the microcosm of infinity, the light brightened the darkness and the light was darkened by the shadow it casts.
