Chapter 29 What Is This That I'm Feeling?
- Selene couldn't help but shift her gaze towards the landscape visible through the carriage window. Her heart was racing, yet she felt happy and deeply confused. A sense of shame washed over her as she recalled what had just transpired with the king in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't right; she hadn't been raised or educated this way. Still, it felt so good that the desire to continue experiencing it grew within her.
- "Anyway, we will be spouses," she thought, attempting to shake off that feeling of guilt.
