Chapter 19

• "Hello, Jared," Astra said into the phone as Jared picked up his phone.
• "Hey Astra, how are you doing?" He asked. He sincerely sounded surprised. It was then that Astra realized how odd it would be. She had never called him before; he was always the one calling her. It would clearly be weird for her.
• "I am good, thank you," she said. For a moment, she was short of words. She had no idea what she was going to say to him. Many things crossed her mind, but her greatest fear was the fact that he may have realized that she was playing him in a way.
