Chapter 10

• I am on my way to Stefano’s office the next day, before catching my flight. After the ambush the other night, I lost my documents in the elevator, luckily, they were saved. I arrive at his office after taking the elevator to his floor. I ask his secretary to let him know I am here but he is out for lunch. I didn’t set an appointment since I just needed to collect the documents from him, so I call him to find out if his secretary can hand them over to me.
• “Hello,” I say once he picks up
• “Who is this?” he speaks harshly into the phone.
