Taking a deep breath, I tried to calm my heavy breathing. I didn't let my fear show on my face just as Max said. I didn't panic. But as each minute passed, my heart sank more. Anxiety and fear for Alex's safety didn't let me concentrate on anything.
It's only been two hours since Max left to find Alex. And I was already losing my mind. Adrian didn't let me out of his sight ever since Max's departure. Even when he had to attend a work call, he made me sit on his lap while doing so.
