Chapter 36 Attacked
- But before the rein was completely lost from my fists, a hand snaked around my waist and pulled me up. Gasping when I opened my eyes, I found myself in a pair of strong arms with my back against his chest. His hand was tightly wrapped around my waist from behind as he pulled at Silas' rein, halting him.
- I let out a sigh of relief. My heart still thumped down my ribcage.
- "Are you alright?"
