Chapter 13

• "There, papa. Are you sure you don't want us to tag along with you? She can be violent at times." They say to Johnson Sr about their own adopted little sister. The man breaks into a smile and pats Alex on his shoulder.
• "If she isn't violent, then I shall be worried. She's my lovely daughter. If I cannot see her go through such battles, then I shall help my best in her terms. You should learn that too." The old man says and adjusts the coat around his slumped old shoulders.
• Walking inside the ice cream parlor that seemed so simplistic but elegant in its own way, he finds his daughter sobbing silently and wiping her tears with a tissue.
