Chapter 385 Office Mating

• I went to Killian’s office the next morning and the morning after that. As the days passed, we spent less and less time together so I thought it would be nice to have breakfast together even if it was for less than thirty minutes.
• “Good morning.” He gave me a dazzling smile when I entered his office with a breakfast tray. He got out of his seat and took the tray from me, placing a light kiss on my lips. “You did not have to bring this up yourself.” About three people said that to me as I came over with this but I wanted to do this. I wanted to bring him breakfast and watch him smile. I wanted to do anything I could for him and since I couldn’t do much, I made sure to do what little I could.
• “I wanted to,” I answered, looking around his office. As usual, stacks of documents surrounded his desk and they looked more than they did the previous day. “Should I send Eliza over to assist you?” She was efficient and excited to work so she could ease his burden.
