Chapter 2 Let's Got Divorced

  • Olivia no longer wanted to live humbly before Alexander.
  • Now!
  • She was going to confront Alexander!
  • She had enough of behaving obedient!
  • She wanted a divorce!
  • Immediately!
  • Right away!
  • Olivia changed into a new outfit and walked straight out the door.
  • In the hallway, a group of maids were carefully cleaning the antique treasures in the house. As Olivia, dressed in faded, worn clothes, walked out of her room, the maids' eyes were filled with disdain and sarcasm.
  • Olivia ignored them and headed directly to Alexander’s study.
  • In the past life, after slamming the door, Alexander went straight to the study. Olivia, fearing Alexander’s disdain, had followed him and knocked on the study door, only to be met with Alexander’s cold reprimand to stay away.
  • Now, looking at the closed door, Olivia didn’t knock cautiously as she had in the past; instead, she turned the handle and walked in.
  • In the study, Alexander sat gloomily in a chair, his assistant Henry standing impassively beside him. Seeing Olivia push the door open, Henry’s face showed a hint of surprise.
  • He coldly said, “Ms. Carter, Mr. Wilson needs to rest. Please leave.”
  • Henry was astonished that this woman could be so shameless.
  • She even dared to drug Mr. Wilson!
  • Olivia looked at Alexander’s darkened face and swallowed nervously. His extremely handsome features were intimidating in his anger.
  • “Alexander, we…”
  • Alexander, feeling the sharp pain from the drugs, saw this entangled woman come after him again.
  • He lowered his voice. “Olivia, if you want to stay in the Wilson family, get out immediately.”
  • As soon as Alexander finished speaking, Olivia suddenly gathered her courage and said, “Let’s get divorced!”
  • Upon hearing this, Alexander’s already furrowed brow tightened even more.
  • “What did you say?”
  • Olivia was relieved to speak her mind finally.
  • “I know you’ve had no interest in me from the start. It was your attractive face that blinded me! Now I realize that if you’re not interested in me, I won’t force it. Let’s part on good terms and get the divorce done later today.”
  • Olivia spoke sincerely, but as she did, Alexander’s expression grew increasingly grim.
  • Even Henry, standing beside Alexander, was sweating with fear.
  • Has this woman lost her mind? She was asking for a divorce from Mr. Wilson!
  • For more than six months, she had been trying to please Mr. Wilson in every way. Whenever Mr. Wilson mentioned her leaving, she was terrified and refused to go.
  • No one expected that Olivia, who had been trying to win Alexander’s favor for a year, would go from drugging him one moment to casually talking about divorce the next!
  • “Say that again!” Alexander, enduring the pain in his forehead, looked at the audacious woman.
  • Seeing Alexander’s uncomfortable expression, Olivia thought he might still be affected by the drugs and kindly suggested:
  • “If today isn’t convenient for you, we can arrange the divorce tomorrow.”
  • Anyway, she was determined to get a divorce!
  • Alexander took a deep breath, suppressing the urge to strangle her.
  • “Henry.”
  • With that, Alexander walked out of the room with a dark expression.
  • He feared that staying in the same room with her would make him lose control and strangle her.
  • Henry understood Alexander’s intention and turned to retrieve a contract from a nearby cabinet, presenting it to Olivia.
