• The company has been giving to Alex, and everything is moving smoothly with us pretending nothing ever happened. I just hope that this ends well, if not, then I'm doomed for life.
• "Are you ok?" Ariel's voice pulls me out of my train of thought, and I raise my gaze to see her standing in front of me with a questioning look on. I feel bad for not telling her about what is happening, but I don't want her to worry about anything, which was why I never bothered to tell her.
