Chapter 18

• Next morning in Ariel's room
• Waking up with a slight headache and dizziness, Ariel sits up on the bed and runs her fingers through her hair as she groans tiredly. Glancing at her alarm that's still blaring, she groans as she reaches out for it and picks it up, turning it off and returning it to the bedside table afterward.
• Her eyes feel heavy and her body tired, but knowing that she needs to be in the office as soon as 7am, she swings her leg down the bed and drags her feet sluggishly into the bathroom.
