Jackson was left dumbfounded at the fallen words she had blurted. Unlike her previous self, she wouldn’t even dare to say her opinion, in fact, she’d meekly bow her head to ask for his forgiveness even if it was unneeded. Nothing was felt other than discomfort – it was a perturbed feeling that he had felt for the first time in his life. She had never acted this way, so why… why was she suddenly acting strange?
Hee frowned, speechless of what to say. Her words hit her like being nailed by a laborer over a roof, helpless of what to do. Besides being speechless, he was also in disbelief.
