Chapter 11 You Are Not Worth It
- “It's all your fault! And yet you still dare to hit your sister? You're not worthy of being the daughter of this family!” He delivered another slap when he thought about Hua Ranran's almost ruined face and the fact that Luo Tian was behind bars.
- But his hand didn't land on Hua Shengan's face because she managed to grab it. Then his eyes came into contact with hers that were exactly like his but with stronger hostility.
- “If you slap me again, then I will cut ties with you. But I will spare you if you don't intervene in my affairs. Or else...”
- “Or else what? I didn't raise you to threaten me!” Hua Fan roared and smacked her hand away violently. The resentment in her eyes made him forget his facade, and he raised his hand again.
- “Do it if you're not scared of Xiao Chengjue,” Hua Shengan challenged while staring up at him, which made his hand froze.
- “Haven't you thought about it? Things were always going smoothly for you, but suddenly no one even glanced your way today.”
- Hua Shengan secretly cheered when Hua Fan slowly lowered his hand. Xiao Chengjue's name is so useful. She rubbed her back and sat on the coffee table while staring smugly at the pair in front of her.
- “What's the relationship between you and Xiao Chengjue? Why did he make things difficult for Luo Tian?” His tone turned slightly gentle when he realized that Xiao Chengjue was really involved in this. But he was still stern when he questioned her.
- “Daddy, haven't you realized it yet? After seducing Xiao Chengjue, she dumped Luo Tian and sued him. Then she framed me for something that I didn't do and also complicated things on your end. She's trying to destroy us! Who would have known that she could be so toxic!” Hua Ranran quickly yelled when she noticed Hua Fan's hesitation. If her Dad doesn't bail Luo Tian out of jail, then what would happen to her?
- “Is what Ran said true? Are you really in a relationship with Xiao Chengjue?” The emotions in his eyes shifted as he suddenly felt anxious. Xiao Chengjue was too reputable that not even the late Sun Yishan could approach him, let alone someone like him.
- “We are very close.” Hua Shengan stood up and looked at Hua Fan, who had loosened up a bit.
- Then she turned towards Hua Ranran, who cowered in fear, and snorted at her. “I didn't throw you in jail wasn't because I was soft-hearted. It's just that I'm still deciding how to make you pay for taking everything that belongs to me. So Dad...”
- Hua Shengan went back to the stairs and turned towards Hua Fan. “Dad, I know what you've done behind my back. This time I've done the best I could, so please don't poke your nose in my business anymore.”
- “Daddy, what is she saying? Everything that I own right now is from you! I didn't take it from her! She's even threatening me now! You have to speak up for me, Daddy!” Hua Ranran rushed to Hua Fan's side and begged him while holding his hand.
- Hua Shengan's expression was so diabolical that it terrified her. It was as if she could see through her.
