• “How is she?” Thomas asked her as she came out of the OPD. Her eyes were red from crying. Ever since she got back from Canada, all she had been doing was crying. She did not cry in front of others, but her swollen and red eyes told enough about her condition.
• “She is okay.” She nodded in assurance. She was sleeping, so she came out to sit beside him. She was concerned about him. He had not slept for a second since the previous night.
• They got to the hospital as soon as they landed in LA. They came around night time and it was already morning. He had not left her side the whole time and consoled her all the while. Olivia sent Aunt Mary home because she was the one who had been taking care of her mom for two days.
