Chapter 40 Misunderstandings

• Amidst his happiness, he had eye-contact with her. He instantly remembered what she said about him, about the marriage.
• Although what she said was nothing but the truth, what she said and how she said it stirred something in him. She did not feel an ounce of anything for him except dislike and irritation.
• He had never felt as unlikable as he did after meeting her. What was it about him for her to not feel anything? Everyone did.
