• "Who cleaned my bedroom today?" I requested in a menacing tone, which sent chills down their spine, because they all looked visibly shaken.

• "I only cleaned your room when you were still around sir.." she responded with calmness, her head facing the ground.
• "I've not gone in there, since you left.." she added. I understood what she was trying to say, before I left the house my documents were intact.

• "It's better you come out now, and lessen your punishment. You will only lose your life, if I fish you out myself…" I threatened.
• I did not plan to let this go. I was going to get to the bottom of this and understand why anyone would want to go through my files.
• What if there was an imposter planted here? I couldn't risk anything.
• "Did any of you go into my room, after Marietta?" I asked, and they all shook their head. They’ve been working for me for years, none of them would have dared to go in.
• "You can all leave.." I dismissed them. I will check the CCTV, and see who the culprit is. I had hidden cameras planted around my room, the last person to leave would be the culprit.

• My brows furrowed as I wondered where she must have gone to. Did she still leave the house after I warned her sternly not to? If she truly left, then it only meant that she didn’t take Chris along because he was at home.
• What if she had decided to steal some important documents, and run away with it? She had fled before, and I was certain she could do it again.
• I was about to leave the room, to inquire about her whereabouts, when I heard the sound of water rushing from the bathroom.
• Without thinking twice, I went straight for the bathroom and I opened the door, but what I saw next was what I never expected to see.
