• Just right after the phone call, Liam's room looked the most attractive to me. Just what was he hiding that would make him repeatedly tell me to stay away from his room? I wanted to find out, and I was hoping it was a kind of juicy secret.
• I pushed aside the curtains to let in some air and also some light. As soon as the room was well illuminated, I started to search through everything I could find. Wardrobes, cabinets and drawers. But I realized the more hidden places I searched, the less I found. So I wondered. What was I doing wrong?
