• Amy went home to see Shane was sleeping. She smiled and closed the door of his son’s room. The nanny waited for her to report what had happened today before she would go home. It was their routine.
• After Amy sat, the nanny said, “Ms. Brooke, today Shane went home from the kindergarten with Mr. Samuel Hoffner.”
• Amy nodded and let out a sigh. “Yes, the teacher called me first before allowing Shane to go home with Mr. Hoffner.”
