Evelyn's POV
Lost in my own thoughts I didn't even here the doorbell ringing. What's with the noise. The loud voice?
I went in with a confused look and a bit scared that do I have to meet all the relatives right now? But as soon as I went in I stood shell shocked. I felt like I was stuck to the ground. My mother came and hugged me with the same old fake tears... What are they doing here? Nick doesn't know. What am I going to say to Nick? Nick! I searched the living room to find his cold eyes directed towards me. He looked away with pure disgust on his face. Why is he disgusted with me? Fuck! This is all going the wrong way. How will I explain all this to him now? Will he even want to listen to me now?
