• ODETTE’s POV.
• When my husband pushes the door open and walks into a room, a frown immediately settles on my face when I see him. He doesn’t have a bruise on his face but I can feel it, he looks tired and a bit worn out.
• “What happened to you?” I ask him immediately and he comes to sit beside me but instead Malachi pulls me to a hug and rests his head on my shoulder. I allow him to do that, he clearly needs the hug but that still doesn’t stop the fear I felt when I saw him a while back.
