Chapter 35 Hoping For The Best

• Iris just woke and noticed no one with her. She needed Alice. She carefully sat up and put her legs down into the slippers. She managed a few steps outside her room searching for Alice. She was pretty weak and felt dizzy. She felt a sharp pain in her chest, it felt like her heart stopped for a while and her breath ceased. She took a few steps back and fainted right into Nathan's arms. Nathan was surprised to see her in such condition. He carried her up, unaware of her ward.
• Alice returned to the room and was surprised to see Iris gone. She tried figuring out where she could be. Anastasia and Cathlin walked in. Anastasia noticed the strange look Alice wore and Iris not on her bed.
• "Alice, where is Iris? Anastasia asked "I'm surprised, 'cause I left her here when she was asleep to get these fruits for her. I'm surprised not to see her here"
