Chapter 38 No Love

• GINA’S POV
• After my training session with Wilona, I was too tired to head back to the training grounds to meet Praya. Instead, I went straight to the house, my legs weakened from the run, and my lungs still recovering from the strain of labored breathing.
• When I got back, Devyn wasn’t at the dining like I had expected him to be. I felt kind of disappointed at his absence. The sweet aroma of Lucia’s cooking hung in the air and I followed it to the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen, and greeted Lucia who stood by the stove, working her magic as always.
