Chapter 159 The Awakening I

  • Simon stayed in his car and waited until the end of the school day. He would never have the opportunity to meet Scarlett alone. When he observed her car leaving the school, he stood up from his seat. She was accompanied by her friends. After seeing Adolpha's car following them as well, he covered his face. He couldn't possibly let her see him at all. He had earlier lied, saying he had come to their school because of a strong smell and definitely not because of Scarlett. She had taken his word for it and sent him on his way, promising to try to track down the source of the odour.
  • Simon started his car and followed behind. He took care to drive slowly out of concern for being caught before coming to a stop in front of Scarlett's home. Simon was unaware that Adolpha had become their friend. She was laughing like a friend as she entered Scarlett's home. He thought they hated each other. What is going on? Is it because Scarlett doesn't seem to remember anything?
  • He waited a short distance away. He wasn't stalking her; he was just keeping an eye on her because of the full moon tonight. That's what he kept telling himself. Even though he had done what a stalker would do, which was to remain in his car and observe her every move, he kept telling himself that he wasn't a stalker.
