Chapter 14 The Escape
- The lessons were finally completed in the span of a week. I was taken through ethics, cooking, and memorizing the pack’s important dates. Since that was an avenue to forget my worries briefly, I enjoyed the process, and I was back to being grounded in my room.
- The fact that I couldn’t cross the walls of the mansion was so suffocating. It was like a prison that was taking my breath away but there was no way to protest. Several occasions, I had come in contact with him but he wouldn’t even acknowledge my presence.
- That morning, I was coming from a walk and met him at the side of the huge hall. He was talking with a man with messy, sandy-blond hair that fell across his forehead. It was neither too long nor too short, which framed his face with a subtle charm.
