- Sheila's point of view
- I began running deeper into the mountains, holding my sword in my hand, with more of these fucking wolves after me. It was as if I was their target. I slashed around. I gazed back in hopes of finding Brielle, but I couldn't. She was earlier with me, fighting together, but as more wolves came at us, she insisted I keep running.

My shaking legs slipped down a narrow path. Suddenly, I tripped against what felt like hard rock, and before I could do anything, I was rolling and tumbling down the slope of the mountain.
