• I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room, feeling groggy and disoriented. Memories of what happened before I fell asleep came flooding back to me, and I sat up abruptly. Julian was sitting in a chair beside my bed, his eyes trained on me with concern etched on his face.
• "Hey, you're finally awake," he said, his voice soft and soothing. "How are you feeling?"
• "I feel like I've been sleeping forever," I muttered, rubbing my eyes. "What happened?"
