Chapter 14

• I got home after dark I sighed heavily and slumped against the door. It had been an exhausting day from things with Dash, Gunner now Mr Dean and the Pandora. I needed a hot bath with candles and chocolate. Unfortunately, I didn’t have candles or chocolate so a hot bath, dinner and a movie would do.
• I heated a frozen pizza and took it upstairs after my bath. I had half a mind to turn off my phone and relax. The action movie I chose was less than relaxing but I knew a romance would only have me thinking about the three men in my life.
• Dash and I had a past that I couldn’t brush under the rug and Gunner was just complicated so far the only thing between us were questions and desire. Kaleb offered a fresh start and I wanted that but he made it clear he didn’t want anything serious he had a girlfriend now. Dash told me the same thing but crossing that line was so easy with him.
