- The water washed off the after sex glow but a part of me was still scared Gunner might know I was with someone else. I shouldn’t care honestly he and I weren’t involved. Gunner and I walked in the backyard. If I stood on my toes I could look into the neighbour’s yard.
- “I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you yesterday,” Gunner said.
- Hearing Gunner say he was sorry didn’t feel right. I was used to him barking, snapping and hackling at me. He’d really grown up. He had to mature if he was going to run a pack.
