Chapter 20 The Aftermath

• ALLISON.
• Every inch of my body was aching as I slowly opened my eyes. Dark patches blurred my vision at first before I was able to adjust to my surroundings.
• My eyes lazily wandered around and realized that I was in a spacious room adorned with fancy red curtains covering a pair of gigantic windows. The bed I was lying on felt soft and velvety against my skin, far from the usual scratchy fabric of my trusty old room.
