Chapter 60

• Mr. Pete Davis, Julian's PI, sat cross-legged in the lounge area of Julian’s office, explaining the events of the past week. It had taken him a week to find out about Leslie's ex.
• “That was all I was able to find, sir,” Pete concluded, uncrossing his legs as he straightened in his chair. His eyebrow arched when Julian didn’t respond neither did he spare him a glance—instead his eyes were fixed on his phone, texting with a smile on his face. Julian barely heard a word Pete said as he replied to Leslie’s text about how his day was going.
