- Leslie had been sitting inside the Tripea Café for the past 30 minutes. She huffed out a breath and wrung her fingers together in annoyance.
- “Of course, he’s late. It’s so typical of him. I wonder what Julian is doing now,” she muttered and resisted the urge to text him. He hadn’t even messaged her a good morning. Was he that mad at her?
- “I have to settle this fast and give Julian the explanation he deserves. I won’t let this come between us.”
