Chapter 6 Swordsmen

  • Damian was like an emotionless killing machine. He cupped his fists at Melissa and walked away.
  • "A slave will always be a slave. He will never be able to make a comeback and be on equal footing with us, the descendants of the Wilson family!" Melissa snorted coldly and walked to a rocking chair in the garden.
  • She lay down and was going to take a nap.
  • She trusted Damian's strength very much. She knew that she only needed to wait for the final outcome after sending Damian out.
  • After all, Damian was one of the Wilson family's Martyr nurtured by her amazing sister. His strength was unfathomable.
  • When Damian arrived at Alexander's residence with a murderous aura, he realized that Alexander was not in the house. He did not know where he had gone.
  • Therefore, he could only return empty-handed.
  • In the garden, Damian stood in front of Melissa. He knelt on one knee and said in a deep voice, "He ran away."
  • "Ran away?" Melissa's eyes were filled with shock and anger.
  • She suddenly got down from the rocking chair and stood in front of Damian. She sneered and said, "How dare this slave! I'm going to contact the family guards. I must find him! He's only at Level one of Physical Realm. He must have not gone too far!"
  • *****
  • Just as the two of them thought that Alexander had already escaped from the family, Alexander had come to a nine-story tower in the center of the Wilson Mansion. He had never thought of escaping.
  • This nine-story tower was called Martial Tower.
  • Around Martial Tower, there was a market. The new experts who had entered the Physical Realm had an opportunity to choose a weapon and a set of skills for free.
  • This was the special benefit that the Wilson family offered to motivate the young generation to work hard in their cultivation.
  • The reason why Alexander chose to stay in the Wilson family was also to obtain these benefits.
  • It wasn't that Alexander didn't want to become a rogue cultivator and travel the world. However, he knew that he was far from being able to do so since he was not strong enough,
  • If one was not powerful enough before they rashly left their family and were without the protection of their family, they would definitely die quickly in this ferocious world.
  • This was because not only was there a threat of ferocious people in the world, but there were also various powerful demonic beasts in the wilderness.
  • Having lived two lives, Alexander was naturally much more mature and thoughtful than his peers.
  • At this moment, Alexander walked to the market around Martial Tower. There was a sea of people there, and it was incomparably noisy.
  • The Wilson family was a large family in Osselburg. They had a long history and many members.
  • Even though the market only allowed people within the family to enter, it was still filled with people.
  • Alexander walked into the market and looked at the bustling crowd. He felt that he was about to truly integrate into his identity in this life.
  • Although he was the son of a powerful ruler in his previous life, due to his curse, he was weak. In his entire life, he was protected by Evan as he lived in the depths of the Enios Dynasty's palace. He could only look outside from within the walls.
  • However, in this life, Alexander had the qualifications to cultivate. In this life, he wanted to travel around the world and experience many things.
  • Alexander walked towards a counter at the front of the market.
  • As long as one showed their certified identity token, they could receive the family's benefits.
  • However, what made Alexander's expression turn extremely strange was that when he walked to the counter, he saw the strange old man in the Ritual Hall yesterday again.
  • The old man in sackcloth looked at Alexander and chuckled. Wrinkles appeared on his face as he said, "Alexander, we meet again."
  • He naturally knew Alexander's name since had had verified Alexander's power yesterday.
  • Alexander was expressionless. He subconsciously took a step back and said, "Sir, I'm here to collect a weapon and a set of skills."
  • Regardless of whether it was weapons or skills, they were all extremely helpful in improving an expert's strength.
  • In his previous life, Alexander had been locked in the palace of the Enios Dynasty and loved to hear those legendary stories.
  • In those stories, the experts held combat weapons and fought evil beasts. It made his blood boil and his heart race every time he heard them.
  • Even though Alexander was the son of a powerful ruler, he was still a young man. Deep down, he always dreamed of venturing into the world.
  • Among the stories he had heard, the ones he liked the most were about swordsmen. They roamed the world freely as they relied on their immense power. Alexander felt that their lives must be cool and exciting.
  • Alexander murmured, "I may kill whoever I like, but I don't devote myself to evil deeds. I do things however I see fit, and I never care about the fame and wealth..."
  • He then said to the old man behind the counter, "I want a sword as a weapon. I also want a set of skills for a sword."
  • When the old man heard Alexander's inadvertent muttering, his eyes could not help but move as he praised, "Kid, you're very to my liking! I'll give you a sword for free!"
