Chapter 23 Kissing Raphael

• POV: Victoria
• I smiled in Raphael’s direction, ignoring the childish act of his mom and ex-girlfriend. I sat next to his grandfather and I enjoyed his company so much. He is such a great man, he told me stories of how he started from nothing and achieved many great things today. He laughed very often, enjoying the company of his family and other guests.
• “I can see why you love him so much. Now I know why you are willing to do anything to please him and keep him happy. He’s such a great man,” I muttered softly as we both sat in the bar. When I started chatting and laughing excitedly with his grandfather, Raphael stood up from their midst and came to sit with me and his grandfather, putting his hand around my shoulder and smiling brightly when I looked up at him.
