• For the last four days, all I have been doing is training no-stop right along with my warriors. We all are pushing our bodies to the fullest, so I had to give my men a rest. The only thing that has been on my mind is revenge. I will seek it. Cairo had crossed another line and was taking my mate for the second time. It was bad enough that he took my first one. Now he took my second chance, mate. I knew I should have not let him live. I should have ripped his throat out the minute I found him and Josefina screwing in my office.
• What is done is done. I could not believe that he will go this far, just to get back at me. We were once brothers from another mother. I treated him like family only for him to stab me in the back. I don’t know what brought on his behavior. I remember ever since his parents’ death, he changes. Cairo became more distant. He never wanted to hang out anymore. He kept himself busy with Beta duties. I felt he was going through a phase I gave him some time. Eventually, he will come around, but he never did.
