• "Uncle Alan, what are you trying to say?" Sandra asked, puzzled by Alan's anger.
• "The audacity to ask me!" Alan snorted. Pointing to Lucas, he growled, "I couldn't care less what's wrong with Wallace. However, he publicly humiliated Lucas at Silverlake Hotel yesterday and broke his finger. I'll hold him accountable for this. If not, I won't forgive him even if Father intervenes."
• She heard of the incident but doubted he merely wanted to settle the score with Wallace on his sudden visit. He must be up to something.
