Chapter 326 Acting, Testing

• Rachel slid the piece of paper into a shredder before clearing the trash out. Just as she was trying to come up with a reason to visit Ford Inc. the next day, she heard the sound of a car driving into the yard. Without even putting her slippers on, she rushed over to the balcony with her bare feet before pulling the curtains apart to take a look outside. The familiar black car was parked outside, and a familiar figure stepped out of the car.
• The man was back, and he had some flowers in his hand. Rachel's gaze flickered for a moment before she rushed back into the bedroom. She took the glass of water by her side of the bed and poured some onto her hand… Soon enough, she could hear footsteps getting closer to the bedroom, and the bedroom door was then gently pushed open.
• Jayden peeped through the small gap in the ajar door to find Rachel sitting by the edge of the bed with her head hung low. She was wiping the corner of her eyes with some tissue, and there were a bunch of used tissues scattered on the bedside table. It seemed as if she had been crying for a long while…
