Chapter 13

• As Samantha and her mother stood there, wrapped in each other's embrace, a voice broke through the tender moment. "Don't you miss me too?" the voice said from behind. Samantha lifted her head, her heart pounding with a mixture of surprise and joy, and there, standing before her, was her brother Marco.
• A rush of emotions flooded through Samantha as she beheld her brother's familiar face. It had been seven long years since she had last seen him, seven years of longing and yearning for the brother she had been forced to leave behind when she fled the Pack.
• Without hesitation, Samantha broke free from her mother's embrace and ran to her brother, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug. Marco enveloped her in his embrace, his strong arms wrapping around her in a protective gesture that spoke volumes of the love he felt for his little sister.
